Not liquid resistant.

3 Star. We order 2 for our kids twin size mattresses. Bed bugs were not a concern, but the idea of a quiet, complete cover to keep allergens down and "accident" resistant sounded great. The covers fit well on both beds. We have 8in thick mattresses so they were a little loose. I wouldn't be concerned in buying for a thicker mattress. however neither cover has proven to be water resistant. 2 boys under the age of 4 have proven that as of a few weeks inbbnif owning. this will not stop an accident, which was one of the main reasons we bought them. -

Two comments about this purchase: Most importantly, the product is excellent. It was easy to put on and the hook and loop closure made it easy to secure. I now have peace of mind that my mattress is protected. Second comment is that the mattress protector came without typical packaging...bag with and photo picture. It was just inside the shipping bag. But after looking further, I saw a thank you card explaining that they are trying to protect the environment by reducing the plastic and paper packaging you would normally receive. I was worried about buying this because of the negative comments,
