They wash well in warm water in my top load washing machine on normal cycle but water does collect between the layers and do I usually have to do an extra spin cycle. Purchased for the first time recently. Well made, do exactly as stated. Easy to launder: throw them in the washer, then in the dryer, and put it right back in use. Have washed them twice. Really like the protection they afford. Pricing is fair for the quality of the product. Bought two different sizes so we have smaller size for the car seats and larger size for the bed. They suit our needs perfectly. There is a strong "plastic" odor initially out of the package. I laundered them (washer and dryer) and there was no longer an odor. I really like the two sizes.
