Don't listen to the trolls
This is a quality product. There are no open circuit boards or any other such nonsense these trolls are telling you. In fact, the wire from the sensors to the plug is continuous and unspliced. It integrates seamlessly with Apex and even has special screens when paired with a DOS allowing you know exactly how much is left in each chamber. The optical eyes are exactly the same as those in the ATO kit and I don't see those getting poor reviews. The bad reviews on this site prevented me from buying these for months as I considered other options. In the end, Neptune's great reputation, as well as g

Good Product
I'm not sure why others have had problems with these. I bought two of these, two years ago, thinking I could use one to dose Vodka and Vinegar. I found out after purchase that this would ruin the unit, so I have never used it. The other though, has been dosing 2 part the entire time with no problems. The quality is obvious. These are beautiful units that are aesthetically pleasing when matched to other apex equipment. I have never had a problem with the sensors. Not sure what would cause them to fail. The question to ask yourself is, do you need the level sensor for your purposes. This is an e

Use with Caution
If you plan to use these for AWC(Auto Water Change) then make sure you have a salinity setpoint to shut the DOS off **WHEN** the pump heads fail. I had to learn the hard way when the tubing failed on the fill head and my auto top off tried to compensate with fresh RO. Salinity dropped to dangerous levels. Lost about a third of my tank.

Awesome Apex integration, but some design flaws
These are decent quality reservoirs, they look good, and they integrate well with the DOS dosers and Apex controller to provide some nifty features and a graphical representation on the Apex dashboard. So far, I've not had any build quality issues with this unit, although an identical optical sensor on another piece of Apex equipment has failed on me after only a couple of months, so I won't be surprised if these also go bad prematurely (as others have experienced). Second, I think using RODI-style connectors on this unit was a mistake. They may be waterproof, but tiny amounts of air can get i

I Like It
I really like this thing. I'v only had mine for about 3 weeks but it is working great. Looks very nice under my stand. Im giving this 4 stars because I know the sensors will go out at some point because these sensors are trash. I have a 8 month old ATK that I already had to replace one sensor so I know its only a matter of time. Other then that I really like it. If you buy anything Neptune that uses these sensors you will be replacing them for sure so just beware of that.

Function and beauty
How things under my stand look is important to me. Having a calibrated and market and attractive reservoir makes me proud to open up my stand and show what's under there. I love that it integrates perfectly into the rest of my Apex system and syncs with alerts when I need to refill my two-part solution.

Improved design
Using Dos for AWC. I just noticed my right pump was way under in dosing my NSW amount, due to an alarm on my conductivity. Looking at the old pump head I noticed a broken support find in the top of the casing, it was flexing too much and changed things. I opened my spare pump head and noticed much more support fins in the new casing, and I'm glad they knew of this and improved on it. Neptune is a Great company.

Im running two separate tanks both with AWC and both have had 1 ea pump head failure. I think the speed is a bit much for the design. I am using a dosing pump for approximately 1.5 years and never had a problem.

A bit spendy but nice to have!
So far so good. Plug and play as always with my Neptune DOS and the notifications when additives get down to a level you specify being based on usage with mechanical as a backup is reassuring. Light years ahead of my DIY containers with float switches and thrilled to have the added visibility this gives you through the Fusion dashboard with a quick glance.

Great Product
Set up is easy and the built in sensors display the volume of dosing liquid on your Apex dashboard. This will let you know when it is time to refill. The DOS Reservoir plugs directly into the DOS pumps so it uses no extra aqua bus inputs. The DOS Reservoir is attractive and sits on the floor next to my tank. Automation at it's finest.

Expensive but no comparison
It is solidly built and beautiful for something most may never see, but for a gear head it is art outside the tank. Features make it unique, yet some will feel they are not needed, and that is true. For those who want the best or all the bells and whistles, add this to your collection.

Not Neptune's best
I have two of these and love the idea of them but in reality have been disappointing. I have had to send one of them in repair twice! I would not buy again. On a positive note they are very stable (will not turn over) and don't take up much space.

Careful what you put in it
If you are a vodka doser, this isn't for you. The vodka (and other additives that contain vodka) will crack the acrylic. Other than that, its a great, but pricey product to pair with the DOS.

Quality Build
This thing is super nice and a great compliment to the DOS... It's great for me since my reservoir is out of sight I am able to monitor the levels inside the container through fusion.

I like it.
I wasn't sure if this was worth it but I'm happy with the purchase. Yes its expensive for a dosing container but coupled with the Neptune/Apex functionality I think its worth it.
