My husband loves ginger and I used to buy him crystalized ginger from our local health food store. But it was very expensive and not always consistently fresh with a less-then powerful ginger flavor. I bought him these chews for a stocking stuffer this holiday and we both found them surprisingly delicious. They were fresh with that bold, ginger flavor that wakes up your whole mouth. The bag is a sufficient size and the candies themselves are the perfect portion for a little treat. Honestly I dont buy these often because I just EAT them non stop haha. The one thing that stops me from completely stuffing my face is the fact that every piece of candy every single one is individually wrapped. Although this saved me from choking on a massive, delicious wad of chewy ginger, it made a TON of waste. Theyd definitely stick together without them, but with their old timey theme, small, simple parchment paper wrappers for each piece of candy would be less wasteful, stop the candies from sticking together, and be less wasteful than the foil like wrappings they currently have, and wo
